Recreating K-Pop Demon Hunters Ramyeon!!! (DIY Craft Project)

Image
*AGGRESSIVE SLURP OF PRE-GAME RAMYEON As you can tell, this blog post needs more... explaining to do.  I'll do exactly that. Picture this, me in my comfortable PJs, a few days after I've watched KPop Demon Hunters, and so obsessed to the point where I have learnt the Soda Pop dance, with nothing to do or to even given a sign that I've watched the show in my blank white room. I thought  Should I do something, and if yes, how?.  I run through things that I could possibly do... Buy merch of KPop Demon Hunters Do nothing because I can't be bothered to or...  I recall the pre-game ramyeon that Huntrix ate before kicking demon butt. It's a picture of them individually but in a more cartoonish style.  What if I... remade it into physical cup noodle form? I did a bit of researching, and eventually I came across a platform that sells homemade gifts and things. That's right, I'm talking about Etsy. From Etsy I saw a deal that was for $7.66 EACH, and it was just for...

Grading to 4th Kyu?! (and how it went)

Image
It's raining. And well, so is the pressure of being on time for grading. We are currently racing through the Johnsonville Shopping Centre, scouring the area for a quick bite to eat before the senseis yell our heads off.  "WHAT ABOUT THE SUSHI STORE?" I yell in capitals. "LET'S GO THEN!" Mum yells back and we sprint off to it. There's a whole lot of Japanese food to choose from in the small shop. I grab a tong and I contemplate at the options. "JUST CHOOSE QUICKLY, IT DOESN'T MATTER!" Mum screams. I do exactly that and we pay the bill, miliseconds later before going outside the exit, across the road, and joining the line outside Johnsonville Prime (yes, that is how close the mall is to our dojo).  15:15. Not bad. Here's the thing. It's not easy to get a red belt when you're a blue belt. You need to get assessed when you turn blue in order to get to red, and if you don't pass, you have to go to assessments until you pass and...

Wellington Young Voices Choir Performances! (two in one day) Part 2

Image
Bupa Crofton Downs Retirement Village   Another performance?  I wearily think to myself. I am very worn out at this point. But I have to do this.  Just one more. I hop into the car with Sylvie, my new friend. I'm glad I met her in the first place. She has been a very easy person to talk to.  And now we're facing this performance together. Tired as we can possibly be.  My parent starts the car, and we lean backwards on our seats, talking about our school lives, and our own lives. Just another normal choir practice, except we have to do it in front of elderly people. Not scary at all.  Totally. * We have reached our destination, and I leisurely walk out of the car. Sylvie follows me out too.  Unlike like the first performance, people are here before us, except with two members in Kokako have tagged along. I wonder why they didn't come to the first performance. Maybe they weren't available.  But they're actually kinda lucky. They' re super energised, ...
