˖ . ݁๐œ— (warning: contains spoilers) ๐œš. ݁₊ AHH MY PRECIOUS HUNTR/X Sooo... you probably know what this movie is. After all, you did click on this blog. This movie has been blowing on my feed for the past few months or so, but it's slowly - just slowly - dying down. When I first heard of KPDH, I was doubtful whether or not the movie would be an interesting watch, but after watching it, I sort of knew why it was so overrated. The people who wrote the songs in the movie are the same people who wrote K-pop songs for famous K-pop bands. I wouldn't list them now, because if I did, I might've as well wrote all the composers and it would've taken this whole blog to write. So I'll just not... But anyway, I wanted to share my opinion of KPDH, and wrote an honest... K-Pop Demon Hunters Movie Review! Plot (in case you don't know) written in my own words: For many generations, there will always be three chosen people to save the Honmoon from weakening. Honmoon is a barrier ...

One thing's sure about my life. I am pretty tired after everything that's happened this term. Endless amounts of rehearsals and performances, a karate tournament, speech finals, I definitely need a break from life. But throughout the most nerve-wrecking parts of my life, I always do these things to make me feel better and tell myself that the world isn't actually ending; my spirals and stress will. They always work when I just feel like I might go insane. 1. writing an entry The journal that I own is my life-saver. Some of the most angst pre-teen memories I've been through are  jotted down in my book, and man it really help when I felt terrible and wanted to punch the wall. Releasing my thoughts was exactly what I needed to make me feel better. According to an article I found on Google, research found that journaling has been proven to reduce stress, manage anxiety and depression. Picking up a journal and pen can really help make you feel like a weight's lifted off...

A Thursday of my life at school

Image
Heaving my school bag onto my bag hook, I tiredly sigh with the fact that the moment I enter my classroom, there's no way going back. If only skipping school was an option. Not in my household. But anyway, I greet Matt and Sheila a brief "good morning", but frown as I'm puzzled to why they're here in Pohutukawa (the name of my class). They both teach Manuka, not here. I pay no mind to that though. 20 minutes till the bell rings, best thing to do is to wait it out. I do exactly so. * 9:30am to 10:00am After a painful session of WYB (wake your body) from 9:00am to 9:30am that nobody enjoyed going through, all of us are sitting at our tables, mentally groaning that we're gonna do the "least" boring school subject.  Math. Now, even though I'm pretty good at it, that doesn't necessarily mean that I enjoy the lessons. I'm just a regular girl that likes math class, except without the word "class". "If a quarter of Ryan's exp...

Acting at a main cast in Production... (it went well)

Image
Destination: Wellington East Girls College (names used in this blog are not their actual names for privacy reasons) That one evening before Production... I scour the crowd for any sign that my friends have arrived but with a disappointed sigh, I can't. What am I going to do without them here? But quite literally out of nowhere, I find Gabriela standing shyly in her beautiful cultural clothes. I'm not wearing mine, I'm wearing the clothes I'm using for my Drama act. I'll change into my cultural clothes later.  Now here's the thing. The reason why she's wearing that to Production (a school show basically) is because there's a theme to tonight's performance: in our neighbourhood. Now you may be wondering, how does dressing up in your cultural clothes relate to the theme? To be honest, I don't know. But Matt, a teacher that leads the Kapahaka * group, and the Kapahaka instructor, Mehi had both thought it would be a great idea.  *kapahaka is a tradit...
