Food Review: Hey Ramen Wellington

Food: Miso Ramen

Comment:

I liked the Miso Ramen for it was nice and warm. The noodles were chewy and it was a delicious treat. The only thing was after I finished eating this, it left a slightly salty aftertaste in my tongue. Like most visits, the serving of the noodles were more satisfying compared to this visit.

Food: Tonkotsu Ramen

Comment:

Like the Miso Ramen, the soup broth is just warm and the portion of the ramen is lesser compared to our previous visits. We usually choose Hey Ramen as our go-to food here Wellington CBD because we're (as in my family) a fan of Japanese cuisines especially ramen. The stock is lacking of flavours from the pork bones and other ingredients that were added into the dish.

Everywhere I look, the streets of Wellington were filled with vandalism and graffiti. Loads of people always looked like ants scattering for food which is exactly what people do in lunchtime. SPECIAL Post Bulletin * Grading to 6th Kyu*

Location:  GKR Karate Johnsonville Prime I stepped into the dojo as I grinned with embarrassment. My family and I were grading to (moving up to) green belt. The order of belts went like this; white, yellow, orange (which I currently was), green, blue, red, brown and black. But it wasn't going to be easy grading to these different coloured belts. The average person to become a black belt took 4-5 years! And currently, I was less than a year at karate. "Lining up!" one of the senseis (instructors) bellowed. "Hai!" the students grading shouted in response.  Shouting "hai" was acknowledging senseis when they say instructions. It was also a way to show that you were listening. If you didn't shout, you would need to do a certain amount of push-ups. I would say it was quite fair though. My heart was beating so fast, it could play the drums. Different Types of Poetry

Hello! In today's blog, I'm going to unveil some different poems that I learnt at school. Poems, I think, are a great way to express yourself. While making poems, I find the process of writing them really fun. So let's get started! Haikus Haikus originated from Japan. Haikus are short line of poetry, but that's not all. There are a few compulsory rules that need to be followed by making haikus; 1. There are only three lines in a haiku 2. The first line needs to have 5 syllables, the second line 7 syllables and the last line is 5 syllables 3.There are no more than 17 syllables in the whole poem Now, you might be wondering by Rule 2. That's what makes haikus more challenge to compose. But if you want an even bigger challenge, then when you're writing, you shouldn't give away what you're writing about.
