Place Review: Wairarapa, New Zealand

Destination: Copthorne Hotel and Resort Solway Park
(it's a long name I know)
Some facilities:
Games room, gym, indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi
What I liked:
Outside the hotel was one thing that really stood out to me. There's a beautiful archway, surrounded by green and a couple of flowers blooming. There's also a tennis court, and when we came, it was the perfect weather to play tennis! I really liked outside. It's one of those places where you can read a book in peace.

The swimming pool (the indoor one) was luckily heated, because outside for the whole duration of our trip was numbingly cold! We were practically stiff popsicle sticks when we stepped out of the hotel. Right next to the swimming pool is the gym, which is super convenient, because then you wouldn't have to meander the whole hotel just to workout! There was plenty of space to swim, because it stretches at just the right length.

The hotel room was really comfortable, with a cozy warm bath tub, and of course, one of my favourite places on Earth; the bed!

Overall, this was a great hotel for long and short stays when you travel to Masterton.

And for those of yall who want to see what happened...

yup... that's what happened.

Destination: Castlepoint Lighthouse
What I liked:
The view was definitely spectacular. The overlook on top of the beach was so epic. The weather made it a hundred times better, the skies were cleared... *sigh. It was just pure perfection. But before we went to see the
lighthouse a bit more up close and snap a few photos, we went to eat some fish and chips at a shop in Castlepoint. The food was actually way better than I expected it to be.

Destination: Molewood Orchard (Greytown)

What I liked:
I did not expect to find so much apples that were in the most fresh state. We tried an apple and it was perfectly sweet! And some more, it was the last time to apple-pick at Molewood, and there was loads of apples. It was a very fun experience for a first timer.
