A (more literal) family reunion!

My face lit up when I was informed that I would have a brief opportunity to spend time together with my uncle, Tito Rain!
After a long haul from Thailand to the Philippines, we checked in at a nearby hotel situated not so far from the airport. This marked the second-to-last destination of our Asia trip, and I couldn't help but feel a bit dejected by this fact. After all, this trip had been the most fun I'd had in a while. But spending more time with my family that resided in the Philippines would make me forget some worries or stresses that's gone through my head in absolutely no time.
I wonder when Tito Rain is gonna get here...
Almost seconds after the thought appeared into my mind, Mum receives a phone call and discreetly takes it in the lobby. Eventually, a massive grey car pulls up in front of our hotel. "Tito Rain!" Ninang vigorously waves her hands to signal our presence, before sheepishly realising that it was the exact same model of Tito Rain's car, but yet it wasn't him that was on the wheel. "Ninang... that's not Tito Rain." I whispered to Ninang's side, absorbing the secondhand embarassment she felt.
Just standing upright battling through the humid weather was a hard task to achieve. My feet tapped against the uneven concrete, waiting on Tito Rain's arrival. "Ooh! He's says he's here..." Mum exclaimed while staring at her phone in deep concentration.
The car that was presumably Tito Rain's driven into a parking space. One of the windows rolled down, revealing Tito Rain super overjoyed at the sight of us with his arms waving. "Hi guys~~" Swiftly making his way toward us as after latching the car door in his behind, he wrapped my whole body into a tight embrace. I could've stayed like this forever.

Tito Rain's energy was practically eaten up by his occupation, so guess what we'll be eating now... Chow King ~
I practically sensed my mouth watering at the sight of the meal after we snapped a brief group photo from the kind staff. As a result, because I hadn't ate Chow King for goodness how long, I gobbled it up 10x faster than I usually would've for meals. So THIS is what I have been missing out on for the past 5 years?!

Being dragged into an uninformed haircut session

It appeared to be that my parents were super keen on cutting my hair short, because the consecutive day, my mum had already booked a haircut appointment at David's Salon, SM Pampanga.
I personally thought that I best suited long hair, but since my parents had bombarded me with strong arguments, I found myself caught in a situation where I very much had to say yes.

Me before my haircut

mid-haircut...

tadaa!~

I wasn't the only one who was actually getting spoilt though. Mamu, in the process of getting my hair down, booked a *pricey* facial treatment appointment, whilst Ninang and Mum watched silently as the barber trimmed locks of hair and watched the money fly away...
    (they recovered... somehow)
After both of our session concluded, with Mamu's face radiant and smooth, and my hair wayyy more silky and beautiful than it usually is, my other uncle, Tito Ryan, offered to meet us up in SM Pampanga. Knowing the interactions we once had when I last saw him, I was anticipating an interrogation requiring me to barrage on about my whole entire life. Maybe it was a mere exaggeration, but I was use to this "GIVE ME LIFE UPDATES" nature that my family has. It was also quite understandable since they hadn't seen me for so long, so I didn't mind at all.
Dragging his seemingly heavy luggage at a glance, I quite literally sprint toward him head first and hug him. "TITO RYANN!"
