The Peculiar School called Erehmai | Chapter 2: Weird Rules to Follow

Monica walked up to his house as the wind gushed harder and harder. She walked up to his door and paused. What if someone who answered the door wasn't James and that "someone" pulled Monica's shirt and dragged her away, grabbing her into pure black darkness...  Monica wasn't usually this of an over thinker but today she was quite like one. Not that ready, she nervously knocked three times on James' door. She heard thudding of footsteps and eventually the door creaked open to reveal James. Monica was never this glad to see him. She sighed with relief and said hi to him. He did the same. James ushered Monica in his house, and it was really kept neat and tidy. "I knew you were smart enough to crack my note." James said. Monica grinned. "I just knew it meant something." They both walked upstairs to his room. And James left his door ajar. "So... why is this school so weird?" Monica burst her curiosity out to James like a balloon popping. She had been holding her curiosity for the whole day of school. "Well, it's because of Ms. Silver, the principal. She looks crazy, and is crazy. Rumours has it that Ms. Silver is from an mental asylum that has been abandoned since we were alive." James said. "AND she might be..." James stopped. "Yes?" Monica said as if to beg him for answers. She did not like secrets, and she needed to find out no matter what. Especially Erehmai School's secrets. "A demon."

Monica burst into laughter. "Can't you hear yourself James?" Monica mocked him about his answer. "Well it's true, whether you believe it or not." James' voice  turned grim and serious as he said firmly to Monica. "Ms. Silver won't even let us in her office. Even if it's detention." James said exasperated. He had explained enough information to Monica. "There are some rules that you need to follow though." James said as he gave Monica a slip of paper. Monica, on the other hand, was curious to read its contents. "Ms. Silver handed this list of rules at the start of school. I think you should read it." James said. "Alright, thank you for explaining EVERYTHING." Monica said as she waved her new companion goodbye. "Remember, everything you need to know is inside." James said.

Monica walked home 20% strangely excited to know the list of rules, but 80% nervous and hesitant about this particular list. She rushed to her house, getting faster with every step. She made her way to the bedroom and jumped her bed. She had never missed her bed so much. She opened the piece of paper, and here was what it said:

Rules

1.No talking in class

2.Do not knock on the door 3 times

3.Do not enter Ms. Silver's office

4.Walk slowly in the hallway, so that wooden floorboards don't make a sound

5.Do not go outside in class at all

6.Do not take your food outside the class

She was confused. Why were these rules so important to be followed? Like "walk slowly in the hallway, so that wooden floorboards don't make a sound". This was disturbing, and Monica shuddered with chills running down her spine. She was going have to get used to this feeling.
