In my opinion, what I really found convenient was this hotel was situated near everything: the library, restaurants, and the Five Mile Shopping Centre. So it wasn't an excruciating journey to travel from a certain place to another. The hotel room itself was spacious and had plenty of space to move around, so it was best suited for 2 people. There was also a bedroom, kitchen, dining area, and living area to roam around in, so it had everything I needed. One of the good things about staying in this hotel was that it was literally right next to a laundromat, so at anytime you could just take a 5 minute walk and pop in your clothes. For housekeeping, they frequently refilled refreshments, such as milk, tea bags, and replaced towels, duvets and bed sheets. On the contrary side, the staff and housekeeping weren't too hospitable and professional, and not to mention the dryer in my hotel room wasn't functioning, but other than that, everything was decent.

Honestly, the first thing I have to point out is that the view from my hotel room was amazing. You could see the enormous, beautiful mountains right out the window. It was such a sight to behold. This hotel is located not very close to the town in Queenstown, so it wasn't accessible to a lot to things, and required at least a car ride just to get your groceries. But I have to say, the 3 available facilities were super good. There was a pool, gym and sauna awaiting you near the far end of the level my hotel room was in. The front desk this time was smiling and approachable, unlike the front desk in Ramada Suites by Wyndham Queenstown Remarkables Park. My family and I tried the buffet breakfast on our last day at the hotel, and my honest comment is that it was pretty basic and normal compared to other buffet breakfasts in other hotel accommodations. And since it was also my mum's birthday celebration, Mercure Queenstown Resort provided macarons especially for my mother with a letter on behalf of the whole staff.
