First food: Tonkatsu Ramen, a broth rich and creamy, made from simmering pork bones

⏺ Hey Ramen

My comfort foods are probably a warm bowl of soup-based noodles with mouth-watering toppings. This is the example of my favourite foods to eat when I go outside with my family on the weekends and we just want a break from everything that's happened this week. This particular bowl of Tonkatsu Ramen was excellent and exactly how I wanted, from the first slurp of a spoonful of soup, it was the right amount of seasoning added, and it was super addictive. I enjoyed eating a warm meal, though I wished it would be served a bit hotter, it would make it even better. But other than that, everything in the bowl was delicious and satisfying, from the mushroom-taste of the bamboo shoots (sort of like mushrooms) to the soft boiled egg that sat on the top of the noodles and soup. All together made a satisfying and enjoyable feast.

Second food: Miso Ramen, a savory broth (past personal-favourite)

⏺ Hey Ramen

I used to like this specific type of ramen a lot, like I would literally order it without hesitation every time I would go to Hey Ramen. That's because 1) I'm scared to get out of my comfort zone and try other things on the menu and 2) I have an obsession with it. It's a savory broth, and like the Tonkatsu Ramen, very addictive. It is so delicious, especially paired with a sweet refreshing drink to go with the noodles. Though preferably, what I think that could make the Hey Ramen Miso Ramen a bit better is to lessen the seasonings into the soup because the salty taste can be quite overpowering. I also think the noodles would be much better if it was served hot. If you like tasty, savory ramen, I would recommend trying this one. But if you like a rich and creamy broth as the soup for your ramen, I would suggest Tonkatsu Ramen to be your next eat!!
