Back to the food reviews✨!
A while back then, I used to make food reviews about particular food from shops that I ate in the buzzing streets of Wellington in rain or shine. But abruptly, I stopped doing food reviews to write about other content for my blog. So I figured, why not bring it back this year? I have to admit, I do miss making these food reviews since 1) I'm a big foodie and 2) I love writing, so those two combined would make this! I really hope that you'll like it, and hopefully my writing has improved a lot!
First food: A cheesecake drizzled with chocolate sauce, berries on the side and butterscotch ice creamIt absolutely looks impeccably appetising and marvellous, with all its components, the toppings and the ice cream, it just makes it so much more delicious. And the taste? My mouth found heaven at its finest. I love cheesecake, but this dessert is extraordinary. The cheesecake and the chocolate just tasted amazing together, and the one scoop of butterscotch flavoured ice cream was the cherry on top. The berries were also a delicate touch to this heavenly dessert. I have to say, if there was one dessert that had no flaws and was pure perfection, I would gladly think that this dessert would be it. Overall, out of this world.

Second food: Takoyaki* with shredded veggies on the bottom, and kewpie mayo squirted on top of the takoyaki
(*Takoyaki is Japanese octopus balls, heaven)
⏺ Hey Ramen
Fun fact: this takoyaki was actually from Hey Ramen, the shop that my family and I frequently go to. I did a food review about a bowl of ramen in a past blog*, so go check it if you haven't already! The food there is my favourite thing in the world. Every item on the menu is easily delicious. Anyway, this was my first time trying the takoyaki in this shop, and I was impressed. The balls were served hot and fresh, and they smelled superb. I took a bite of it, and once again, I found heaven. It was hot inside my mouth, so I kinda burned my tongue (killed a few tastebuds but that's fine I guess), but it was soo worth it. Honestly, I wasn't expecting the takoyaki to be that good. It was a light but addictive snack, and I wish I had tried it sooner. I love it so much, worth my $10!
