Foods from Christchurch✨!
As you most likely noticed when you were reading this title, there's a slight change in today's current food review. Yes, instead of reviewing foods in the Wellington Central, since my family and I are travelling, I wanted to share with you guys some food that I tried during my stay in Christchurch! I really hope you enjoy!!
‼️UPDATE‼️
Before you proceed reading the food review, I'd like to announce a change in my uploading schedule! Instead of posting content every once a week on a Saturday as usual, I will be uploading twice weekly, one on a Wednesday, and the other upload on Saturday as normal.
⏺ Mifan Chinese Restaurant
Fried rice is in my opinion a meal that has always been a part of my life. My parents always made this when I was small, and I loved their homecooked meals. They still make amazing food. But anyway, when I took the first bite the Mifan Special Fried Rice, it was yummy and utterly delicious. It tasted homemade, fresh out of the kitchen. Every single bite I enjoyed taking, but my feedback for this dish is to lessen the seasoning that was added in. If it was not too salty, I would give this a perfect score. Sometimes too much of something isn't good at all and might ruin it a little bit.
Second food: Curry Sauce with Vegetables, choice of chicken, beef, pork belly, tofu, lamb or prawn
⏺ Mifan Chinese Restaurant
What I liked about the curry sauce served with rice was that it was served warm and hot, and had a perfect balance of potatos, onions, and meat. But I have to comment, I tasted the prawns and they tasted like the frozen type of prawn you'd find in the supermarket. The curry sauce in my opinion tasted a bit unusual compared to the curry that I had ate. It tasted a tinge unpleasant to my mouth. Some feedback would be to use fresh prawns instead of frozen ones, and change the curry sauce. If I'm being brutally honest with you, the curry sauce tasted a bit like dirt and and very ancient, I'm not even exaggerating...
