Our stay in Eastin Thana City Golf Resort Bangkok ‎‎♡₊˚ 🦢・₊✧

The *overpriced* car ride...

The car ride to the golf resort had been a hazy memory. For the whole journey, I rested my head on Ninang's shoulder, eyes narrowed from being engulfed in darkness with only the lights of passing cars and streetlights guiding the taxi driver's sight. It wasn't until then that when the driver helpfully loaded our luggage onto the concrete, I realised this wasn't no ordinary golf resort I'd pictured in my head. Eastin Thana Golf resort was far more larger, spread out, and oddly comforting and inviting rather than the intimidating Nina Hotel accommodation I'd stayed in at Hongkong.

I bit back a groan as I dragged myself to the hotel, Mum and Ninang checking us in. I maintained a facade that shown that my bones aren't gonna snap in half if I take another flight again, when really, the case was otherwise.
I don't even know if I'm gonna make it to the hotel room at this point. And where do I go??
As if heaven-sent and the clouds had opened up, Tito Ram strode with a faint-white bath robe, and quite literally, greeted me with open arms.

The rest of the night's events involved exchanging greetings with my family members, eating mouth-watering Thai food and shoving large amounts of it (my family members reaction were somewhere between shocked and delighted at the sight), sipping on iced teas, satisfying my thirst through the humid weather, and knocking out onto a king sized bed.

The next day...

It was extremely difficult to fall asleep yesterday night. I found this even more peculiar because I was driven into a state of somnolence, but despite that, found it difficult to sleep all the more. The excitement that coursed through me faded and I knocked out eventually.

When I'd woken up from deep slumber, all of my family members were out and about doing their morning routine. Since I was so knocked out after yesterday night's events, I couldn't hear a single thing when I escaped into a world of dreams. Sitting up, I consider laying back down, dressing up being a second thought, before not letting laziness corrupt me and getting on my feet.

Thundering in my chest was the heart of mine. The heart of a person who was more enthusiastic about swimming in the blistering heat more than she could've ever imagined. It was the type of emotion that had you shaking in every inch of your body by how nervous you were. This was the very first time that from this whole trip, we had an opportunity to swim.

We headed to the pool area wearing comfortable bathrobes, and I thought to myself, For once I actually feel nice and cool in Thailand. The wind ever so gently brushing our faces eased me, and for once I didn't feel so weighed down by the heat. I considered the fact that maybe I was wearing my swimming attire underneath the bath robe, so that's why I felt this way. And there as I saw, the glistening pool's sparkle from the sunlight, was I already getting too ahead of myself. I quickened my pace faster than the others behind me, and halted to a stop when I was at the edge of the pool.

As usual, we took far more photos than necessary, but since my mood was light and cheerful, I didn't actually mind smiling for a photo, because in truth, I was feeling super smiley than normal.

Photos we took when we at the pool!

(it was a beautiful day to go swimming ~)

Out of breath after doing continuous laps of the pool, the food from the buffet as I peacefully walked was almost telling me; Sophia~ you know you want to eat some right?.. come here ~

I in fact didn't resist any temptations at all, moments later, I was found slurping on a satisfying warm bowl of Vietnamese-styled noodles.

"How's your food Sophia?" Ninang intently asked. Between mouthfuls of noodles, I responded with a "IT'S SO GOOD.", but since I was devouring with all my might, it came out more like "ISSHO GUD."

I discovered the parts of the buffet. Of course they served Thai food options on platters, but there's also other Asian cuisines, which I absolutely adored. But then I came across a bibimbap station. I won't tell you what happened after that, but I can tell you it had lots of eating involved. Refreshing drinks were served on glass dispensers, and pastries and breads with options of spreads to go along with it such as jam or butter was at the side. There was even this sweet, delicious bread pudding that when I first saw it, it was practically almost gone. (PS: it had a egg tart-like taste, and egg tarts are my new addiction by the way. Considering that, you can guess that I loved the bread pudding XD)
