{ Places I normally spend time in Queenstown ˚˖๐“ขִ໋❀ | 2 recommendations from a new local }

It's been a while since I've uploaded something... so I hope this blog will make up for all the blogs I hadn't done in that period of time. As you might already know, I currently live in Queenstown, which is best known as the "adventure capital of the world". And being brutally honest here, when I first moved to this place, let's just say I didn't exactly find it interesting in this resort town. A place where sports outnumbered academics?? Definitely not my thing.

But now, my point of view of this place has changed drastically over the months I've spent here, in my school, in my new home, but most of all, in my new community. Queenstown started to grow on me after a while, and ever since, I don't think I mind this place anymore.

As a new local, I'll give you some places you can take a visit in Queenstown Central as a tourist. I go to all of these locations at a regular basis to chill in the weekends, so hopefully the things I list of will become the places you may go to too!

Just before we start, here are 2 websites to the restaurants/shops/etc mentioned in this blog post:

TOP1 Korean restaurant

Lindt Chocolate Shop Queenstown

TOP1 Korean Restaurant

This is actually a brand new Korean (hence the name) restaurant located in Queenstown Central Shopping Centre, opened on the March 30th! They serve tasty Korean dishes that satisfies a grumbling stomach. My family at the time that we ate this was craving an authentic, yet typically Korean lunch, and we found just the right place accessible to us.

The vibes overall of this place was a clean and spacious environment, the capacity from each table ranging from individuals treating themselves, to families of 4. The food was served after a reasonable duration of time, and the most important aspect was how our fried chicken was tender irresistibly juicy with its breading. I kid you not, Korea has some fire fried chicken, so if you can't go to Korea, might as well go to this restaurant in Queenstown.

Lindt Chocolate Shop, Queenstown
For those of you who don't know what Lindt is, Lindt is the brand of premium balls of chocolate originated from Zurich, Switzerland. They just recently opened a new chocolate shop in Queenstown Central, selling warm, pleasant warm beverages (their hot chocolate being made out of their own chocolate!), and of course, promoting new flavours you don't usually see being put in supermarkets in their chocolates.
Now, I especially recommend you should take a visit to this particular shop because the hot chocolate there is absolutely divine. Not an exaggerated statement coming from me by the way. My family loves it so much that every time we drink hot chocolates outside of Lindt, they always mention that "Lindt's hot chocolate is still the best", (Honestly I think trying Lindt's hot chocolate has set their standards a bit too high... I guess that's a good and bad thing??)
Although the drinks had a longer waiting time than usual, it was still worth the wait. Our drinks were served piping hot, so hot that the first sip had burned my tongue. But I'm not complaining, that was the best 10 dollars I'd spent on this entire week. For me personally, I think hazelnut was the best suited flavour on hot chocolate, so please go to this place and try it out if you can!
